About Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a process that helps you relax, clear your mind, and be more open to suggestions, allowing you to tap into your subconscious thoughts. It assists you to imagine things so clearly that they feel real.  All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You are in full control and awareness of your mind and body throughout the hypnosis sessions.

The hypnotist is simply the coach that teaches, guides, instructs and trains. In sessions, the hypnotist provides clients with guidance to effectively enter the natural state of relaxed concentration which is the Self-Hypnotic State. 

Positive, powerful, beneficial, and customized suggestions are given when this state is reached for achieving desired results. 

Self-help techniques utilizing ‘Suggestion’ (cognitive strategies)  are also taught to remind clients in the Self-Hypnotic State of the improvements they would like to achieve in their lives.  

Misconceptions

Many individuals believe hypnosis is a state of “sleeping” or being “unconscious” . However, this is untrue; if it were, hypnosis would not exist. The key is understanding that there is no strange “feeling” when you are being hypnotized. The only thing you truly feel is deep relaxation

Shaikh is a Consulting Certified Hypnotist and a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). His primary focus is the wellness of his clients who approach him with their issues and problems from their daily lives and are looking to turnover a new leaf. Shaikh is dedicated to helping individuals enhance their quality of lives with positive changes through self-discovery and self-empowerment.
